Interior work tends to fix a home's arrangement for years: modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, plumbing and electrical points. Once installed, they are costly to move.
Why before interiors
A review before design is finalised allows placement questions to be raised while changes are still drawings. Kitchen position, pooja space, bed and desk placement, and storage can be considered together with the interior designer's plan.
Working with your designer
Vastu guidance and interior design are different disciplines. The most useful outcome is a short list of priorities that your designer can weigh against budget, ergonomics and structure.
What it does not replace
A Vastu review does not replace the advice of an architect, structural engineer or licensed contractor. Where an observation touches structure, plumbing or electrical systems, those professionals should decide what is safe and feasible.
